Nice and tall and narrow; all the attributes I was looking for. Needed a stand for a flat screen tv for a den and this fit the bill. Very attractive and stable. A little bit of work constructing it, used my dad's trick of using soap on the screws so they went in easier. It arrived in a flat box, with good instructions - kind of hoped it would be assembled. But if I can do it, anyone can. The only thing -- one washer was missing and had to search house high and low to find a substitute. Very high end looking piece, worth the work.
Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
